Pantheon RT point-of-sale

For businesses of this kind, we've prepared the PANTHEON RT edition, the sole purpose of which is tracking POS (point-of-sale) locations. It makes it possible to keep track of issued invoices, prepare data for a cash register close, and perform other basic cash register tasks.

FOTO ASJA is a chain of stores specializing in developing pictures and the sale of photograhy supplies. It has 10 stores in the Dolenjska, Bela Krajina, and Posavje areas.

 

Before implementing a new information system, the company's main problems were repeated document entry (all data transferred to a single database) and the time need to gather information on the status and operations of branch stores. Creating the necessary reports and analyzing and monitoring repro material was a work-intensive and time consuming task.

 

On-site data capture and central data processing now take place through PANTHEON. OTOS synchronization software makes it possible for all business units to share information with the head office, where data is consolidated. The company has an immediate, constant overview of the financial and material balance, which gives it control over all strategic information.

 

Besides greater transparency of business operations, the advantages of PANTHEON can also be seen in the work process itself. The time needed to receive materials has been decreased. If an item is not in stock, the customer is sent to another location or the desired goods are transferred between locations. Inventory is easier and faster. Every roll of film developed is identified with a bar code, thus speeding up customer service and eliminating errors.

 

The company also uses OTOS to link up with the system of the the Biro Bonus e-accounting service. Because costly copying of data for accounting records is no longer necessary, monthly costs have been lowered and the quality of the support offered by the accoutning firm has risen.
